How to Get a Ripped Six Pack

Like most people with belly fat you probably really hate the sight of it, and wish it would just melt away. I know how you feel. However, by reading this article you will have some idea of how to start reducing it effectively.

Going from belly fat to six pack abs has more to do with reducing overall body fat, rather then 100's of sit-ups a day. By focusing on reducing your body fat, you get rid of the layer of fat that covers your abs. crunches are good for developing ab muscles, but they won't get rid of that layer of fat.

How do you get rid of the layer of fat that covers your abs? Through high intensity multi joint exercises, you can do multi joint body weight exercises such as mountain climbers and burpees, or weight training exercises like squats and barbell rows. Then straight after your workout you should do a minimum of 15 minutes cardio, doing cardio after your work is better because it uses your body fat as energy.

The food you eat plays an important role. Cutting out fatty, processed and general unhealthy food will help get rid of that layer of fat that covers your abs. You should replace fatty unhealthy foods with nutritious foods such as chicken breast, lean cuts of red meat and steamed vegetables.

Also, never miss breakfast. This will just slowdown your progress because people who miss breakfast are 5 times more likely to suffer from belly fat because not eating in the morning cause your body to go into survival mode and actually slows down your metabolism so you end up storing more fat!

It is recommended that you consume something that has a minimum of 250 calories in the morning, the reason why it is recommended is because this gives your metabolism a kick stat and has it running faster throughout the day so you burn more fat.
